Cimetière / Cemetery: Immaculée Conception

Le cimetière de l'Immaculée Conception est situé sur le chemin Winterline dans le village de Pain Court, Ontario. Il a été créé par le Diocèse de London et la paroisse de l'Immaculée Conception de Pain Court en 1853. À cette époque, l'abbé Jean-Thomas Raynel, prêtre missionnaire, fut affecté au service de la paroisse. Le monument qui se trouve dans le cimetière marque le lieu de la première église construite en 1853. Au cours des années, des règlements administratifs furent adoptés pour l'entretien et l'amélioration du cimetière en tant que lieu de respect et de paix pour nos fidèles défunts.

Une fois par année, le Comité du cimetière organise une cérémonie de prière spéciale afin de rappeler le souvenir des personnes qui sont décédées au cours des douze mois précédents.

Immaculée Conception Cemetery is located on Winterline Road in the village of Pain Court, Ontario.  It was established by the Diocese of London and the parish of Immaculée Conception in 1853.  At that time, Reverend Jean-Thomas Raynel, a missionary priest, was assigned to the parish. The monument erected in the cemetery marks the location of the first church built in 1853. Through the years, by-laws have been adopted for the upkeep and improvement of the cemetery as a place of peace and respect for the interment of the deceased.

Once a year, the Cemetery Board organizes a special Memorial Prayer Service (Cemetery Sunday) in honour of the loved ones who have passed away during the previous twelve months.
