Prayer is an act of regular communication with God. It is entering into a living relationship with God. Worship is a free act by those who want to meet Him. When to pray? At all times! We can speak to God in our own words, telling Him how we feel and what we need. Prayer is also an expression of worship and gratitude. It is a gift which we receive as we pray.
There are different kinds of prayers: prayers of praise and adoration, prayers of intercession and prayers of thanksgiving. The goal is to keep an open relationship with God through prayer. We can pray alone, with our family and with the faith community.
We recite the rosary before every weekday mass, while meditating on the mysteries.
The Holy Trinity Prayer Group meets every Thursday evening from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., following the 7:00 p.m. mass and adoration, for an evening of worship and petition for all our needs. All are welcome. For more information, call Marie Alexandre at 519-352-6913.
